R.A.D. Kids
The R.A.D. kids program is a dynamic and exciting program where
children will learn about safety awareness and physical defense.
R.A.D. Kids was developed to teach kids how to get away from
an abductor.
 The
kids are taught three basic principles:
- Hit Hard
- Yell Loud
- Run Fast
The children are taught several Resistance Strategies and
target locations. This program is offered to children ages 5-10
and are separated and taught in different age groups. Children
ages 5-7 are taught in one group and children 8-10 are taught
in another group.
This training is also provided FREE of charge by the
Harris County Sheriff's Department
