Summary Information: Friday 11/19/2004, Deputies were called to the residence of the reportee who advises that the her husband, the Missing Person (MP), has mental problems and has been acting strange for approximately one -(1) week. She continued that on 11/18/2004, the MP went left their home stating That he needed to be by himself and that he was going to take a walk.The reportee advises that he never returned home. The reportee proceeds to the MP's mother residence and finds the MP Performing repairs to a small building, at the rear of the main residence.The reportee states that she left the residence after a short visit with family members.
The following day 11/20/2004, the reportee proceeds to the mother's residence again and could not find the MP. Family members did not know the whereabouts of the MP. Upon searching the work area of the building the reportee found a piece of sheetrock with a handdrawn picture of a casket, a kite and the words crazy written three -(3) times on it. The reportee also
How to Report a Missing Person:
- Missing Adults (18 years of age or older) must
be reported in person at any one of the Sheriff's Office
Substation to sign a medical/dental information release.
It is important to bring a photograph of the missing
person to a TRAK equipped Substation so a TRAK flyer
can be made and electronically distributed throughout
the Harris County area.
- Missing Juveniles (17 years of age or younger)
may be reported by calling Sheriff's Office Dispatch
at 713-221-6000 for a unit to come out and investigate.
The Patrol unit will obtain a signed medical/dental
information release. It is important to have a photograph
of the missing Juvenile so the Deputy can have a TRAK
flyer prepared.
- Missing persons who are elderly, mentally or
physically challenged, calling Sheriff's Office Dispatch
at 713-221-6000 for a unit to come out and investigate
The Patrol unit will obtain a signed medical/dental

of the missing Juvenile so the Deputy can have a TRAK
flyer prepared.
There is NO 24-hour waiting period required to report a
person as missing.
