AUTO THEFT BOOTH AT LAW ENFORCMENT EXPO

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, the Auto Theft Unit was pleased to provide auto theft and burglary prevention tips to the public at the annual Law Enforcement Expo, held at and hosted by Greenspoint Mall. Numerous law enforcement agencies and divisions were represented along with a ceremony that included Sheriff Adrian Garcia. This event is sponsored in order to promote public awareness and also provide a venue in which citizens and law enforcement officials may communicate and network. With the holiday season and shopping just around the corner, this event also reenforces efforts to remind citizens to practice personal safety skills and utilize tips to protect their assets to include automobiles/vehicles.
