Auto Theft Task Force and M.A.P. at Auto Show

Sheriff Tommy Thomas is pleased to announce that the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Task Force and the M.A.P. (Motorist Assistance Program) will be participating in the Houston Auto Show, Saturday, January 26 through Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Reliant Center. Information and literature will be distributed to citizens regarding auto theft and burglary prevention. H.E.A.T. (Help End Auto Theft) registration brochures and instruction will also be available. M.A.P. will provide information regarding services available to motorists. Make plans to attend this exciting event and stop by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office booth. Hours are as follows: Saturdays 10 A.M. -10 P.M., Sundays Noon – 7 P.M., Monday through Thursday Noon – 9:30 P.M. and Friday Noon – 10 P.M.
