A) To report your vehicle stolen please dial the Sheriff's Department Dispatcher at (713) 221-6000. You will need your driver license information, your vehicle identification number, license plate number, a complete description of your vehicle. If you have any suspect information please provide complete and accurates information to the responding deputy.


Q) How do I find out if my vehicle has been towed or repossessed?

A) To find out if your vehicle has been towed or repossessed, please contact the Message Center at (713) 755-6042 . You will need your vehicle identification number, or license plate number.


Q) How can I get a copy of my auto theft report?

A) To get a copy of your report, please contact our Record Division at (713) 921-8750.


Q) I have lost the case number to my auto theft case, who do I call to get it?
