17-Year-Old Female Found with Crack Cocaine

Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Garza entered the Northshore Meadows Apartment complex on Uvalde to conduct a follow-up to an earlier assault report. A female was observed pressing herself against one of the buildings as if attempting to hide from the deputy. Deputy Garza parked his patrol car and approached the female on foot. As soon as the female saw the deputy, she reached into her pocket as if to conceal something. Deputy Garza detained the woman and identified her as 17-year-old G. Ashley Jones. The object in Ms. Jones’ pocket was determined to be crack cocaine. After her day in court, she is sentenced to serve 90 days in the Harris County Jail.
