Effective January 2002, Harris County Commissioners Court approved the Revised Rules Governing the Regulation of Alarm Systems. The revised rules include new alarm permit and permit renewal fees, as well as specifying the circumstances under which an alarm may be suspended, revoked, or reinstated.
